Compelled by the fire of the Holy Spirit, passionate with the zeal of God, Bishop Jim McIver, Sr. is a yielded vessel, committed to the advance of God’s Kingdom.

With the heart of a true servant, Bishop McIver is an exemplary Pastor, spiritual father and mentor. As an author, apostolic leader and skillful minister of the word, for over 37 years he has boldly proclaimed the truth of the Gospel, winning thousands of souls to Christ.

His journey to abundant life began with an encounter with the Holy Spirit in Miami, Florida. On December 12, 1970, Jim McIver was born again and within a year he was filled with the Holy Spirit and called into the ministry. Although Jim had a passion for Christ, he resisted the call to the ministry. After months of suffering the dealings of God, Jim began preaching on street corners in New Jersey and New York. Shortly after surrendering to the call of God Jim began to prepare for the ministry.

Since that time, his life has been as clay, molded by the hand of God. His outreach ministry has led thousands to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, hundreds filled with the Holy Ghost, marked by notable miracles and the tangible presence of God.

Jim’s early Christian walk was influenced by the likes of: R. W. Schambach, Kathryn Kuhlman, T. L. Osborn, Oral Roberts, Kenneth Hagin and many other word, faith, healing ministers.

Imparting life-transforming wisdom, Bishop McIver is the author of over 15 books including How Miracles Are Made (Revival Fires Publications), Who’s Messing With My Stuff?
